Okay, so, today I’m gonna tell you about the OMEGA Speedmaster “Silver Snoopy Award” 50th Anniversary watch. I’ve been eyeing this baby for a while now, and I finally pulled the trigger. It’s a non-limited edition, which means I didn’t have to fight tooth and nail to get my hands on it, thank goodness.
I hit up the official flagship store. I walked in, heart pounding a bit, not gonna lie. I’d been doing my research, you know? Reading all about how Snoopy became NASA’s safety watchdog back in the ’60s and how the “Silver Snoopy Award” is like the ultimate “thank you” for mission success. This watch celebrates the 50th anniversary of that whole achievement. Pretty cool, right?
The folks at the store were super helpful. They showed me the watch, and man, it’s even more stunning in person. The blue and silver combo is just classic. And then there’s the case back. Oh, the case back! It’s got this awesome animation of Snoopy in his Command and Service Module going around the moon. It’s powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, which they told me is super precise and can resist magnetic fields like a champ.
I tried it on, and it felt perfect. Not too heavy, not too light. Just right. It’s got that classic Speedmaster look, but with the Snoopy twist, it feels extra special. I decided then and there that I had to have it.
So, I paid for it. It was launched on October 5th, so I waited a few days to let the initial rush die down. And let me tell you, it was worth every penny. Holding it in my hands, I felt like I was holding a little piece of history. A piece of space history, to be exact.

Now, I’ve been wearing it every day since. And every time I look at it, I’m reminded of the Apollo missions, the bravery of the astronauts, and the importance of teamwork and safety. Plus, it’s just a damn good-looking watch!
