Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing this OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch for a while now, the one with the transparent case back. You know, the classic Moonwatch, but you can see all the cool inner workings.
I started by looking around online, just to get a feel for the prices and where I could actually buy one. Man, there are a lot of places selling watches online! Some websites had some crazy deals, like “Up To 90% Off.” That seemed too good to be true, so I got a little suspicious. Then, I stumbled upon this site, that I have never seen before. I checked it out. Seemed okay. They were talking about auctions for all sorts of stuff, watches included.
Shopping around
- I browsed through a bunch of online stores.
- Found some pretty unbelievable discounts.
- Checked out a big auction place.
- Noticed a lot of different Speedmasters, but not many with the transparent back.
Honestly, I didn’t see many of these specific Moonwatches with the clear back on these websites. It’s like they’re not as common. I also read somewhere that the regular Speedmaster is 42mm, but there’s a smaller “Reduced” version that’s 39mm. I definitely wanted the full-size 42mm one, the real deal. It seems like these Moonwatches, especially the ones that are really close to the original that went to the Moon, haven’t changed much over the years. That’s kind of cool.
But, you know, buying a watch this expensive online is a little scary. I mean it isn’t cheap stuff! So I decided to wait.
After a lot more looking around and thinking, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered one. It was a bit of a process, comparing prices, reading reviews, making sure the seller was legit. But, hey, I think it will be worth it!
Now I’m just waiting for it to arrive. I’ll let you guys know how it goes when it gets here! Hopefully, everything goes smoothly.
