You see, that Rolex, that shiny watch, my neighbor’s kid, he got one. Said it was a “High imitation Rolex“, looked just like the real deal. He said it is Original order, whatever that means. I tell ya, these young folks and their fancy things.
He said it was a Submariner. A No-Date Black Submariner, he kept going on about it. I don’t know nothin’ ’bout no dates on a watch, just tell me the time, that’s all I need. But this one, it was somethin’ else. Black, shiny, like a beetle’s back. Looked expensive, even if it weren’t a real one, you know?
Now, I heard some folks, they get all worked up about whether a watch is real or not. They say a real Rolex, that’s somethin’ special. Costs more than my old tractor, that’s for sure. But this high imitation one, it did look good.
