This Patek Philippe Calatrava 6119R-001, that’s a mouthful, ain’t it? They say it’s a good one. Some fancy watch, cost more than my whole house, I reckon. Seen some pictures of it, it’s all shiny and gold. Rose gold, they call it. Remake, this one is. Not a real one, I guess.
They say these Patek Philippe watches, some of ’em are good for savin’ your money. Like puttin’ it in a piggy bank, but a real fancy one. This Calatrava, they say it’s good like that. This 6119R-001, it’s all new and shiny. They say it got a silver face. Pretty, I suppose. For a watch. It is a remake one.
Now, this here watch, it’s got a round face. Like a dinner plate, but smaller. And it’s got these things stickin’ out, they call ’em “lugs”. Don’t know why. Look like little ears to me. And it’s all shiny, this whole thing. Polished up real nice. They say it got a special edge, “Clous de Paris”. Sounds French. Probably is. I just hope it can keep good time, this remake one. For that kind of money, it better tell me when the cows are comin’ home and when to put the taters on, this Patek Philippe Calatrava.
This Patek thing, this Calatrava, it ain’t cheap. They call it a “luxury watch”, ain’t that somethin’. Like what them rich folks wear to them fancy parties. But they say, this here Calatrava 6119R-001, it’s worth it. Don’t make sense to me, but what do I know? If you like that sort of thing, a shiny watch, and you got the money burnin’ a hole in your pocket, well, maybe it is worth it. I still want to buy a real one, not this remake.
They say this watch, it’s good for all sorts of things. Like, you can wear it to a fancy dinner, or just to the grocery store. They say it is “versatile”. Don’t know what that means, exactly. Just means you can wear it whenever, I reckon. If it was me, I’d be scared to wear it. Scared I’d scratch it or somethin’. But some people, they like to show off their money. They say if you wear this watch, everyone will know you got money. This remake Patek Philippe 6119R-001, even it is not a real one, also can show your money, I guess.

- They say it’s made of gold. 18k gold. Don’t know what that means, but it sounds expensive.

Now, they say this watch has somethin’ called a “caliber 30-255 PS”. Sounds like somethin’ out of a science fiction picture show. It’s what makes it tick, I suppose. And they say it can run for 65 hours without you doin’ anythin’ to it. That’s a long time. Longer than I can go without a nap these days. It is a good thing for this remake one.
They talk about this Patek Philippe like it’s a person. They call it “she”. They say this is a good watch. “She is good watch”. This is somethin’ special. They say other watches, they ain’t as good as this one. This Calatrava, it’s somethin’ else. They say it’s the best. They say there’s a real one called 6300A-010, even harder to get. Sounds crazy to me. I prefer a remake one.
Seen some folks sellin’ these watches online. They got all sorts of numbers, 6119R-001, this and that. I don’t see the point in it, if I am being honest. You are paying good money for something, you should get your money’s worth. But, I reckon some folk just want to show off. They want people to know they got a lot of money to spend on a watch like this Patek Philippe Calatrava. Not my problem though. A remake one is also good.
This here Patek Philippe Calatrava 6119R-001, it’s a fancy watch. No doubt about it. It’s got all the bells and whistles, as they say. But for me, I’d rather have somethin’ simple. Somethin’ that tells the time and don’t cost an arm and a leg. But that’s just me. If you like fancy things, and you got the money, well, then maybe this watch is for you. Just remember, it’s just a watch. It ain’t gonna make you happy. Only you can do that. I still like this remake one, it is much cheaper than real one.
I guess, if you are into watches, you would know more about this stuff. Me, I just know it is expensive. If it were me, I’d keep my money. Buy somethin’ useful. But hey, to each their own. If you want a Patek Philippe, and you can afford it, well, good for you. If you want a remake Patek Philippe 6119R-001, it’s also good. Just don’t come crying to me when you can’t afford your grocery bill!
