My neighbor, she bought a Fendi bag, she said, that is called Fendi Calf Hair Mama Bag. I don’t know what is that. But I think that is very expensive. Oh my god, she said she bought from Fendi official flagship store. You know, very, very expensive. She showed it to everyone. She so proud. I don’t like her. It’s a brown bag.
That bag, what is Baguette, you know? Like bread? Long bread? I don’t understand. Why a bag called Baguette? That is crazy. That bag is not big, not small. Just a bag. But she say very special. Very fashion. I don’t think so.
I saw that bag, it’s like, you know, cow hair? Calf hair? I touch it, kinda soft. But I don’t think that is pretty. It is brown, all brown. Like mud, you know? But she said it’s fashion, what fashion? I don’t know.
That Fendi, they make a lot of different bags, they are expensive. The neighbor lady, she always buys these things, show off, say she has a good life, blah blah. I don’t care, but I think she is wasting money. Why spend so much money on a bag? Crazy.
She said, “This is a rare collectible retro Mama Baguette.” What is retro? Old? So it’s an old bag. And collectible? Like stamps? I don’t get it. It’s just a bag!

The bag has a flap, like an envelope, you know? And a strap, you put on your shoulder. Nothing special. I have a bag like that, too. But mine is not Fendi. Mine is cheap. But it’s a good bag!
She showed me the buckles. Silver color. Shiny. And a big F, she said that is Fendi. Ok, I see. But still, just a bag. That “F”, means expensive, that’s it.
She said she bought on internet, she said is official flagship store. You know, official? Important? Very expensive. She said she paid a lot of money. She always say that. I think she wants everyone to know she has money. I don’t care. Money is not everything, you know. That is crazy.
Some people say this Fendi Baguette is good quality, because it made by real leather. Oh, really? But you know, not everyone need a Fendi bag. A bag is a bag, you put your stuff in it, that is all. This lady, she just want to show off, make people jealous.
That bag, you know what they say? They say it’s from 1990s. Or 2000s. Old. Very old. I don’t know why people like old things. Old is old! They say it’s “in good condition.” What does that mean? It’s not broken? Of course it’s not broken! It’s a bag! She said very special bag.
She say, “This bag has minimal signs of use.” What is that? Like, a little dirty? A little scratched? So what? It’s a bag! You use it, it gets dirty! That’s normal! She is crazy. But the bag is still expensive.
They said it’s a good deal, this Fendi Calf Hair Mama Baguette. Good deal? I don’t think so. Still expensive! And they say “free shipping.” So what? Shipping is free for many things! Not special! This bag is not special, only expensive.
She carry that bag everywhere. To the market, to visit friends, everywhere! She wants everyone to see her Fendi bag. She thinks she’s so special. But she’s not. She’s just a lady with an expensive bag. That’s all.
I saw another bag, they say “pony hair.” What is that, horse hair? That is crazy. And different colors, like a rainbow, but not pretty. They say this is “extremely rare.” So, even more expensive? Oh my god. These people are crazy, spending so much money on a bag that made by hair.
This Fendi, they make other things, too. Clothes, shoes, I don’t know what else. All expensive. That is a rich people brand. They make money from rich people. That lady, my neighbor, she thinks she is rich now. But she is not. She just has a Fendi bag, not a Fendi life. She think she is in the movie, “Sex and the City”.
I don’t need a Fendi bag. I have my old bag. It’s good. It holds my things. That’s all I need. I don’t need to show off. I don’t need people to think I’m rich. I’m happy with what I have. That’s what matters.
